About Spencer Land Services, LLC

Jericho sits where the Browns River comes down out of the Mount Mansfield foothills, and the ground here keeps its own opinions — ledge close beneath the topsoil, clay that heaves, dirt lanes that climb into the hardwoods and turn to ruts every mud season. Spencer Land Services works that ground directly, with gravel driveway repair, light excavation, stump grinding, and snow plowing when winter stacks white along the valley. There is a plain satisfaction in a driveway regraded so water runs off instead of standing in it, in a stump taken down to a soft ring of chips, in a lane opened to the road before the first headlights of the morning. Around Jericho and the towns beneath the mountain, this is work you notice mostly by its absence: no washboard, no puddle, no drift between you and the day ahead.
