About Anthony's Snow Removal

Jericho is where Wilson "Snowflake" Bentley set single snow crystals on black velvet and photographed them, thousands of them, beginning in the 1880s. Anthony's Snow Removal deals with the same snow on a larger scale, plowing driveways and clearing walks across Jericho after each storm. Down at the Old Red Mill on the Browns River, Bentley's photographs are still on display; out on the roads, the flakes keep coming by the billion. A drive cleared wide and clean, the shoulders scraped and the path open to the front door, is a more practical kind of beauty, but in Jericho, snow has always been worth taking seriously.
