About D.H.P.LLC

Ira is more hillside than village — a handful of roads folded into the Taconic foothills, Herrick Brook running under them, and not much standing between a house and the weather. D.H.P.LLC plows there once a storm has finished stacking itself against those slopes: driveways opened end to end, parking areas cleared, walkways and steps shoveled down to something a boot can trust. A back road in Ira drifts fast, so the job is as much about coming back as it is about the first pass. The measure of a night is simple — a dark driveway at daybreak and a truck that pulls out without a second thought. Ira, West Rutland, Clarendon, Middletown Springs and the nearby towns are on the route.
