About Mansfield Services

The road up toward Woodbury is granite country, and in February it goes quiet in a way only northern Vermont manages — no sound but a plow blade and wind moving over old quarry ground. Mansfield Services runs Hardwick nights like that, clearing driveways and turnarounds while the storm is still writing itself across the hills. Snow up here does not so much fall as stack, one system laid on the last, and every pass has to leave room for the next one. The reward comes at daybreak: a driveway squared off to the pavement, banks pushed back wide, a car that gets out without a shovel. That is the whole job, and it is enough.
