About Labour of Love Landscaping and Nursery

Dooryards in Glover open straight onto the road, hemmed by stone walls that have been quietly settling into the hillside, and past them the dirt lanes climb into Northeast Kingdom pasture and hardwood. That is Zone 3 ground — a short, blazing green season pressed between long winters — which is why Labour of Love Landscaping and Nursery grows over 700 varieties of Zone-3-hardy perennials, field-grown or potted, plants raised to belong here rather than merely visit. The work runs from design for homes and businesses through installation and maintenance: site clearing and stone work, tree and shrub planting, pruning and removals, pond work, and the season-long tending that keeps a yard holding its shape. There is a plain, physical satisfaction in it — a wall set true, a bed edged clean, a border that comes back stronger the spring after it was planted — the sort of result that reads from the road long after the truck has gone.
