About Potter Property Service

Camel's Hump keeps watch over Duxbury, and everything below it — River Road, the Crossett Hill farms, the flats along the Winooski — takes its weather from that mountain first. Potter Property Service mows and tends the lawns that sit in its shadow, then turns to the plow when mountain wind starts driving snow down the valley. Waterbury is a bridge away, and the work runs both banks of the river. There's a particular pleasure in a lawn cut level on a June evening while the Hump is still catching light. And another in a driveway opened at four in the morning, black and wide, before anyone has to think about it.
