That patience shows in the finished thing: a walkway that runs true to the door, a retaining wall holding a slope above Malletts Bay, permeable pavers letting a driveway drink a storm instead of shedding it. Maple Leaf Landscaping is a design/build landscape shop working Colchester and Chittenden County and out across the sandbar toward the islands, from hand-drawn sketches and 3D plans to brick and thin-veneer masonry, planting beds, and steps cut into ground that tilts toward the lake. In green weather they keep the lawns mown and even; when the wind comes off Champlain loaded with snow, they clear the drives before the light climbs over the Greens.
