Adams Trucking & Excavating

About Adams Trucking & Excavating

Headlights along North Street catch the mica in the Stone Village walls, and for a moment the whole row of houses glitters through the falling snow. Adams Trucking & Excavating is out in that hour — plowing driveways and lots, banking the piles back where they will not narrow the road, shoveling walks and steps, spreading sand on the slick spots. Chester storms arrive heavy and wet or fine and drifting, and each one wants a different pass. What never changes is the finish: pavement showing dark, edges square, and room enough to turn a truck around.
