About RA Filskov & Sons, Inc

Snow arrives in Castleton the way it always has — quietly at first over the slate ridges west of town, then in earnest, filling the cuts along Route 4A. RA Filskov & Sons, Inc runs plows through those hours, clearing driveways and lots so a morning can begin on time. The Castleton River keeps moving black beneath its banks while the blade goes back and forth and the snowbanks build higher. By first light there is bare pavement, a shoveled walk, and room for a car to turn around. That is the whole of the job, and it is enough.
