A stone walkway goes in slowly — each piece turned, seated, and tapped down until the line runs true across a slope that has always wanted to lean toward the lake. That patience is the whole of Vertscape's work in Burlington: patios and walkways set in stone, veneer detailing and tile, gardens designed and beds mulched, excavation and drainage cut so water leaves a property the way it ought to. Mowing carries the green months, organic fertilizer feeds them, and the spring and fall cleanups bookend the year — the raw April rake-out, the last gold load hauled off before November closes in.
