About Old World Garden Design
Burlington's older streets are full of deep porches, slate walks and hedges set out by people long gone. Old World Garden Design works among them, mowing and trimming the small formal lawns, edging where grass meets brick, keeping mulch fresh in the beds and clearing them out in spring and again after the leaves drop. Evening in late June suits the work — the light goes gold along the clapboards and a cut lawn reads like still water. Precision matters more on a small property than a large one, because every line sits close enough to read. Done right, the yard looks as though it has always been that way.
