Sylvester's Property Maintenance

About Sylvester's Property Maintenance

Brownington sits high, its hayfields tipping away from the old stone village with the notch of Willoughby Gap cut into the skyline to the east. Sylvester's Property Maintenance keeps that hill country in order both ways: mowing and trimming through the green season, plowing and clearing once winter takes the hilltop first and lets it go last. Wind matters up here — it drifts a driveway shut in an hour and dries a lawn out in July — so the work is done with one eye on the sky. Spring cleanup pulls the sand and leaf mat off; fall cleanup gets everything down before the ground hardens. A cleared drive on a bright, bitter Kingdom morning is a good thing to leave behind you.
