Goodenough Rubbish Removal

About Goodenough Rubbish Removal

Downtown Brattleboro wakes in layers on a winter morning — the brick blocks along Main Street, the lots stacked above the Connecticut River, the sidewalks that have to be walkable by the time the coffee is on. Goodenough Rubbish Removal is out ahead of all of it, plowing drives and lots, clearing walks, laying sand where the hill grade would otherwise decide things for you. Once the thaw takes hold, the same routes become mowing routes: weekly cuts, trimmed edges, a raking-out in spring and another when the leaves come. Two very different jobs, one steady rhythm. A town looks after itself best when somebody has already been up for hours.
