About Townsend Tree Service, LLC

In April the Third Branch runs loud through Bethel, brown with snowmelt, and the silver maples along the bank stand knee-deep and unbothered. Townsend Tree Service, LLC keeps to those bottomlands and the granite hills above them, shaping young shade trees and pulling the dead wood out of the old ones before it finds a roof. A removal in this country is a geometry problem, a dooryard elm hemmed in by a farmhouse, a shed and the road to Randolph, and it gets solved one lowered section at a time. Wind comes down the White River valley with weight behind it, so storm work is part of every year here: limbs cleared, dooryards opened, brush carried off the lawn. The pride is in what nobody notices afterward, no ruts, no scar, just more sky over the yard.
