About T. E. Pembroke Landscaping

Late in the season the light over Berlin Corners turns thin and gold, and on a clear afternoon the long blue ridge to the west stands up sharp behind the bare trees. T. E. Pembroke Landscaping closes out the year in that light — the last cut of the lawns, the leaves raked and carted off, beds cut back and edges redrawn before the ground hardens. Through the summer it's the ordinary rhythm of mowing, edging and trimming across village lots and the hill properties above them. Ground in this town rolls constantly, so a straight line has to be earned rather than assumed. Earning it is the interesting part, and the crisp finished look of a yard in November is proof it got done.
