About Pembroke Landscaping

Late summer lets go slowly in the Walloomsac valley — the grass stops racing, the light comes in at a longer angle off the shoulder of Mount Anthony, and the mowing turns from a chase into a rhythm. Pembroke Landscaping works that turn and every one after it, keeping lawns cut, trimmed and edged across Bennington's mill-town streets and out along the roads that climb toward the Green Mountains. There is a plain pleasure in the finished pass: stripes laid straight down a sloping side yard, a clean line held where turf meets an old stone wall, clippings swept off the walk before the truck pulls away. Grass grows back, which is the whole point — it means someone comes again, and the yard keeps its shape from spring mud through the last cut before frost. It is unhurried work, and it is what makes a place look tended from the road.
