Three in the morning in Barre Town, February, and the only light on the quarry roads is the one bouncing off falling snow. Jensen Property Solutions runs those hours — plowing, backdragging away from garage doors, shoveling steps and walks, laying sand where a slope would otherwise send someone down hard. Come May the same properties want mowing and trimming instead, and the winter's sand gets raked out of the grass along the edges. Up past Websterville and Graniteville the wind moves snow back across a drive almost as fast as it can be cleared, which teaches patience and a second pass.
