About 7 Ways Lawn & Tree

Before the shopping plazas, this ground grew orchards and pasture, and the big oaks along Haymaker Road still stand over it. 7 Ways Lawn & Tree tends the grass that grew up in their shade — mowing under low limbs, trimming around trunks and fence posts, keeping shrub lines tidy where a yard runs out into woods. Shade lawns are their own puzzle in Monroeville, thin by July and mossy after a wet spring, and they come back with overseeding and steady feeding. Come autumn the leaf load off those crowns is serious work, and hauling it off is half the season. What's left is open ground, swept clean, waiting on the next green.
