Hayes Lawn Care

About Hayes Lawn Care

A mower engine settles into its steady pitch, the trimmer answers along the fence line, and a pair of hands finishes what neither machine can reach — the last edge, the last handful of clippings swept off the walk. Hayes Lawn Care does that work in the Battenkill valley, where Arlington lies low between the Taconics and the Green Mountains and the evening light comes late over the ridge. Summer here gets measured in clean stripes across a lawn; winter gets measured in the width of a plow blade, in the dark hour before a Vermont morning when a driveway comes back to bare pavement and a household leaves on time. Mowing and lawn care through the green months, snow removal when 7A goes white, for Arlington and the towns up and down the valley. What's left behind is plain and worth looking at: an edge holding its line, a yard that keeps its shape all season, a cleared drive waiting under the porch light.
