Langlois Lawn Care

About Langlois Lawn Care

Early morning on the Alburgh Tongue, with mist still lifting off Missisquoi Bay, and the mower is already tracing its first line across a lakeside yard. Langlois Lawn Care keeps grass cut, trimmed and edged through the long green months here on Vermont's northern peninsula, where the fields run flat to the water and the sky takes up more than its share. Come winter, when the wind crosses the ice and snow banks up against a driveway overnight, the plow is out ahead of the school buses, pushing the drive back to bare pavement so a car can back out without a second thought. Spring and fall bring the cleanups — the winter's litter raked off, the beds tidied, the lawn handed back its shape. It is plain work with a visible result, and that is the whole pleasure of it.
