About The Stump Guy, LLC

Out on the open ground of Yorktown Battlefield, the old siege lines soften under snow into long white ripples, and the Victory Monument rises pale against a gray sky. When a nor'easter drops that kind of snowfall on Yorktown, The Stump Guy, LLC heads out to handle snow removal, opening driveways and walkways for homes around town. Someone whose everyday work happens down at the root line isn't put off by a sodden, heavy shovel load. The goal is plain and good to see: blacktop showing edge to edge, a walk you can cross in ordinary shoes, the mailbox reachable again. When the gulls wheel back over the river the next afternoon, the job is already behind them.
