About Jesse's Lawn Services Inc

Out toward Seaford the evening air comes off Back Creek thick enough to taste the salt in it, and the cicadas keep going long after the mowers stop. Jesse's Lawn Services Inc works Yorktown yards through the long green stretch of the year — cutting, trimming, edging, clearing the clippings, staying ahead of grass that gains an inch in one humid week. Summer on the Peninsula asks for stamina more than anything else, and the answer is turning up the same day every week in the heat. Autumn brings the leaves and the cleanups; spring brings the beds back into order. What lasts is the look of a yard at dusk — mown flat, bordered clean, ready for anyone to walk out into barefoot.
