About Tuck GC, Inc.

Sleet has a particular sound against a windshield on Cardinal Drive, a dry ticking that tells you the storm just changed its mind. Tuck GC, Inc. works Woodbridge nights like that one, plowing lots and drives near the Julie J. Metz wetlands, opening walks and running salt as the mix turns over. Ground this close to the tidal flats stays a degree or two warmer than the forecast suggests, which can mean slush at midnight and a solid crust by five. The answer is timing rather than muscle, getting the surface bare while it is still moving and treating it before it locks up. When the marsh takes on its first gray light and every entrance is open, the storm becomes somebody else's memory rather than their problem.
