About Orellana Lawn & Landscaping LLC

The Occoquan makes a wide bend before it lets go into the Potomac, and the streets on the bluff above it live by two very different calendars. Orellana Lawn & Landscaping LLC works both: mowing, trimming and edging through the green months, then plowing, shoveling and salting once the river fog turns to frost. Summer here is humid and generous, growing grass faster than a fortnight will allow, while winter is short, sharp and often icy rather than deep. Matching the work to the season is most of the craft, whether that means a tight edge along a walk in July or bare blacktop before a six o'clock departure in January. The place gives back what you put into it, one yard and one storm at a time.
