About Beavers' Lawn & Landscaping

Where Powells Creek widens toward the Potomac, the land tips gently downhill and every lawn on the bluff catches the river light twice a day. Beavers' Lawn & Landscaping tends that stretch of Woodbridge year-round — mowing and mulching while the sycamores are full, then plowing and salting once the tidewater turns slate-colored and the wind gets teeth. Grass on a slope wants a certain kind of attention: a level cut, a clean sweep at the bottom of the drive, beds edged so the mulch stays where it was put. Snow wants the opposite virtue, plain stubbornness at an hour nobody else is awake. Both jobs end with a property that looks cared for from the street, which is the whole point.
