About Ayala Landscaping

Richmond Highway runs the whole length of Woodbridge, and in a storm it becomes one long gray suggestion of a road. Ayala Landscaping is out on the side streets off it before the county has made its second pass, cutting driveways loose from the ridge of plow-thrown snow that always seals them shut. The work is patient and physical — clear the apron, walk the path to the door, salt the steps where the ice sets hardest against the north side of a house. What matters is that someone opens a door at six in the morning and finds the way already made. Winter in Prince William County is short-tempered and sudden; the answer is simply to be there first.
