Wintergreen HomeWatch

About Wintergreen HomeWatch

At nearly four thousand feet, Wintergreen takes its winter early and keeps it late: rime ice feathering the trees around Devils Knob, snow stacking up on steep switchbacks, and on clear nights the lights of the Rockfish Valley glittering far below. Wintergreen HomeWatch clears that snow from mountain homes, opening driveways, walkways and steps so the front door can be reached whenever someone comes up the mountain. Driveways up here pitch and wind, and one left unplowed can strand a car at the bottom of the grade. When morning sun breaks through the cloud deck and the ski slopes shine across the ridge, a cleared path to the cabin door is the welcome every house on the mountain is waiting for. Up here snow is the season's gift, and HomeWatch keeps it that way.
