5 Brothers Landscapes

About 5 Brothers Landscapes

Waller Mill holds its fog until well after sunup, and the trucks heading out of Williamsburg pass through it on the way to the first cut of the day. 5 Brothers Landscapes keeps lawns mowed, edged and trimmed across town — the sharp line where turf meets brick, the clippings blown off the walk instead of left to scatter. Summer on this peninsula is long and green and generous, and a yard tended on a weekly rotation shows it by August. When a winter system finally works its way up from the south, the same trucks turn to plowing driveways, clearing walks and treating ice so a household can reach Route 60 without guessing. It is ordinary work, done in order, and the result is a place that reads as cared for from the street.
