Efficient Edges

About Efficient Edges

Spring in Franklin County starts up in the foothills and works its way down into the coves, redbud first and then everything else at once. Efficient Edges spends that season doing what its name says — running a clean line where turf meets asphalt, gravel, stone and planting bed — alongside the mowing and trimming that hold a property together. The ground here is red clay and it shifts, so an edge has to be recut rather than cut once and forgotten. On a bright April morning the difference between a mowed yard and a finished one is about two inches wide. Those two inches are the entire job.
