Juan's Handyman Services

About Juan's Handyman Services

Snow is an occasional guest in Tidewater, and West Point treats it as such — schools quiet, the mill's steam standing straight up in the cold, everybody waiting on somebody with a shovel and a blade. Juan's Handyman Services is that somebody. The work begins in the dark, driveway by driveway along the numbered streets, walks scraped and salted so the front steps are safe by breakfast. Snow removal here gets measured less in inches than in mornings handed back to people intact. When it all melts off by afternoon, as it often does, the job was still worth doing right.
