Wallace's Lawn Mowing

About Wallace's Lawn Mowing

Late in the day the Eastern Shore light stretches out long and low, and a fresh-cut lawn in Wattsville holds it the way still water does. Wallace's Lawn Mowing works that unhurried end of the afternoon — mowing, running the trimmer down the fence lines, and clearing the leaves that start dropping once the first cool nights arrive. Out here the yards sit open between crop fields and pine windbreaks, so every line shows, and so does every corner left undone. That is reason enough to make one more pass. The smell of a finished yard drifting on the evening air is most of the pay.
