Matt Eyre's Lawn Care

About Matt Eyre's Lawn Care

The old rail line through town is a walking path now, and you can follow it from one end of Warrenton to the other past yards in every possible state of care. Matt Eyre's Lawn Care keeps a route through those neighborhoods, mowing, edging, trimming and running the seasonal cleanups, and then in October the deck comes off and the plow goes on. Snow here can hold off until February or land the week before Thanksgiving, so the truck stays ready either way, opening drives and walks and salting behind itself. One person's yard, then the next one, all day, all year. It is an unglamorous rhythm, and it is what keeps a street looking like itself.
