B&N Ark Services

About B&N Ark Services

By three in the morning Waterloo Street is one long white slope with nothing on it but streetlight. That is the hour B&N Ark Services is already out, plow down, working driveways and lots back to pavement before Warrenton wakes up and needs them. Snow removal in Fauquier County is less about the storm than about the hours after it, when a cleared apron of blacktop is the difference between a normal day and a lost one. They shovel the walks, lay salt, and cut the bank back at the mouth of a drive so the next pass of a county plow does not undo the work. Sunrise finds the street busy and nobody thinking about the snow at all, which is exactly the idea.
