About Sunscape Land Works | Patios and Landscaping

Winter afternoons at Rudee Inlet arrive low and gold, the boats knocking against their lines, the light gone by five o'clock. Sunscape Land Works | Patios and Landscaping keeps its cold-weather hours by that clock — snow plowing, driveway and sidewalk clearing, and salt spread on the ice from Croatan up through the streets off Birdneck. Snow does not visit this stretch of coast often, and when it does it comes in wet and heavy off the water, the sort that has to be moved before it sets like mortar. Clearing a lot ahead of a morning opening is the entire point: nobody should have to negotiate with their own parking space. By the time the sun swings back over the dunes, the pavement is open and the day gets to be an ordinary day.
