About Stellar Lawn

South of the city the streets give way to Pungo, where the fields run flat to the tree line and a July evening holds its light a long, generous while. Stellar Lawn works in that light — mowing, edging, string-trimming the fence lines, blowing the clippings off the walk before the dew comes down. Coastal grass grows fast on Virginia Beach humidity, so the warm months bring fertilization and weed control, and the cool ones bring leaf cleanup once the crape myrtles finally let go. A crisp edge along a driveway is a small thing that changes the whole front of a house, and it is worth taking the extra pass to get right. Come dusk, with the cicadas up and the mower ticking as it cools, a yard cut clean is its own kind of quiet.
