Paul's Lawn Care

About Paul's Lawn Care

December strips the crape myrtles along the Hilltop streets down to pale bare limbs, and on the coldest nights the North End goes still enough to hear the surf from four blocks inland. Paul's Lawn Care answers the winter side of Virginia Beach when the temperature drops — plowing drives, clearing walks by shovel, laying salt across steps and slick aprons of concrete. Snow is a guest here rather than a resident, which means the response has to be quick and thorough while it lasts. There is a quiet pride in reaching a house before its household needs to leave. The pavement is bare, the salt is down, and the day proceeds.
