About Bloom Lawn + Landscaping

February in Thalia is mostly grey water and bare crape myrtles, the Western Branch of the Lynnhaven sliding along under a low sky. Once in a while that sky delivers snow instead of the usual cold rain, and the neighborhood streets that curl down toward the creek get slick in a hurry. Bloom Lawn + Landscaping is out on those days doing snow removal: plowing driveways, opening the walk from the door to the car, salting where shade and standing water conspire overnight. It is short-notice work in a city that only occasionally needs it, and it asks for turning up before daylight rather than after. A cleared drive on a morning like that is a small mercy, handed over quietly.
