About A.R.C Landscaping

Past the last light on Princess Anne Road the city loosens into Pungo — open fields, hedgerows of wax myrtle leaning east, farm lanes running straight at the horizon. When a cold front slides down the Chesapeake and the rain stiffens into sleet, those flat lanes glaze first and thaw last. A.R.C Landscaping runs snow removal out there and back through the neighborhoods closer in: plowing, opening driveways, clearing walkways, salting the slick step at the bottom of a stoop. Virginia Beach sees snow rarely enough that it feels like an event, and rare weather is exactly the kind nobody can improvise through. By full daylight the tires find pavement again and the fields go back to being quiet.
