GM Lawn Care

About GM Lawn Care

Glade Creek runs cool through the low ground near Vinyard Station Park, and on a June evening the fireflies come up out of the grass about the time the mowers shut down. GM Lawn Care works the long daylight of a Roanoke Valley summer — weekly mowing, trimming around fences and foundations, edging the walks, keeping beds clear of everything the humidity encourages. It is repetitive by design; a lawn only looks effortless when someone shows up on schedule. The pleasure is small and genuine: an even cut, clean edges, and the smell of it hanging around a yard until dark.
