Richard's Tree and Lawn Care

About Richard's Tree and Lawn Care

The country around Unionville keeps its old woods — oak and loblolly crowding the county roads out toward Mine Run, holding snow long after the open fields have let go of it. Richard's Tree and Lawn Care runs the winter routes through it, plowing driveways, clearing walks and salting the shaded patches that never see sun and never quite thaw. Storms arrive low and gray by afternoon, and by dark the whole county has gone quiet and pale. Working under headlights, you come to know every dip and culvert on a property by feel. Morning finds the drive open, the steps swept, and the woods free to keep their snow as long as they like.
