About Old Union Tree Solutions

Snow arrives in this part of Fairfax County on a west wind, usually overnight, and Union Mill wakes to drifted driveways while the road crews are still out on the main routes. Old Union Tree Solutions runs those hours — plowing drives, clearing walkways and steps, treating the ice that forms where a slope shades over and never catches sun. Lots and long shared lanes get opened first so people can actually get out to the road. A storm here is rarely the two feet that make the news; it is the three inches with a hard freeze behind it that strands a car by the mailbox. Getting a place open before the morning starts is the point of every storm.
