TaskTeens

About TaskTeens

Behind the skyline, Tysons is still a neighborhood of cul-de-sacs, mailboxes and sloped driveways that end at a curb the plow has already sealed shut. TaskTeens takes on that stubborn last stretch, shoveling walks and drives and breaking the packed ridge at the street so a car can actually leave. Snow days here come bright and blue and cold, with sledders out on the rise by Freedom Hill Park and the rest of the block waiting on a path to the mailbox. A shovel is a simple tool; there is nothing to it but showing up and working the full width of the concrete until it is bare. The reward is a walkway you can cross in slippers.
