About The Polite Guys Inc.

October near Twin Lakes turns the hardwoods scattered among the pines to rust and copper, and for a few weeks the Prince Edward County light comes in low and clear. The Polite Guys Inc. works straight through it, mowing while the grass still wants cutting, trimming, edging, and clearing leaves off the lawns and out of the beds before the cold sets in. Summer here is a long green argument with the humidity; fall is the reward, cooler mornings and yards that finally hold their shape. A tidy lawn on a crisp day, edges defined and the drive swept, is one of the plainer pleasures available in this county. Then the season closes, the fields go tan, and everything waits for spring.
