About Saum’s Tree Service LLC

Troutdale sits high in Grayson County, near enough to Mount Rogers that the summit's dark spruce crown seems to look down on every yard in town. Up here June arrives cool and rain-washed, and the grass grows lush and quick in the mountain air. Saum’s Tree Service LLC looks after lawns across this high country — mowing steep, uneven yards, trimming where meadow meets lawn, and clearing away what the wind shakes loose from the ridges. Evenings, mist lifts off Fox Creek and the rows of Fraser fir on the hillsides go blue-green in the fading light, and a mowed yard reads like a clearing in an old story. Mountain work, for mountain homes.
