Tim's Lawn Care

About Tim's Lawn Care

Morning in the Holland end of Suffolk arrives across open ground — peanut and cotton rows running flat to the treeline, dew heavy enough to soak a boot, mist standing in the low spots until the sun lifts it. Tim's Lawn Care is out in that first hour, letting the grass dry and then moving through it: mowing, edging along the drives and walks, trimming whatever the deck cannot reach, blowing the clippings back into the yard where they belong. Lots run generous out here and the passes run long, which makes a well-cut lawn something you can read from the road a quarter mile off. By afternoon the truck has worked east toward Holy Neck and the city proper, leaving the same tidy stripe behind it. Suffolk is a wide place, and that standard travels the whole width of it.
