Ideal Lawn Care

About Ideal Lawn Care

The first mow of the year is a specific pleasure. Somewhere in late March the orchards north of Stuarts Draft start to break bud, the ground finally firms up, and the grass that has been thinking about it all month goes all at once. Ideal Lawn Care opens the season then — a first pass to knock down the winter shag, trimming the ragged corners, edging the walks back to a line, and clearing off the last leaves that spent the cold months packed into the corners. From there it is a steady cadence into summer, one week to the next, so nothing has the chance to get ahead of anyone. Spring in this valley is short and loud, and it is worth meeting on time.
