About Pleasant View Lawn & Home Care Inc.

Staunton stacks up in tiers, and from the right yard on a Sunday morning you can count three steeples and hear the bells well before you hear a mower. Pleasant View Lawn & Home Care Inc. keeps those hillside properties — mowing terraced lawns, edging along retaining walls and stair runs, trimming the banks too steep to take a deck, mulching the beds that hold the slope in place. Sloped ground is slow ground, and every pass has to be chosen rather than assumed. Come winter the same hills turn treacherous, so the work shifts to plowing the drives, shoveling the steps and salting the walks. The view ought to be something to enjoy from the porch, not something to negotiate on the way to the car.
