About Appalachian Arbor LLC

Valley snow announces itself from the west: the Alleghenies go grey, the wind swings around to the northwest, and an hour later Staunton is under it. Appalachian Arbor LLC works that window — plowing driveways and turnarounds, opening the parking pad, shoveling the steps and the path to the door, spreading salt on the north-side walks where shade keeps the ice long after the road has dried. Out toward Churchville and Deerfield the lanes run long and the drifts build against the fencerows, so the job is measured in passes rather than minutes. Then daybreak comes, a curtain opens on blacktop instead of a foot of white, and somebody simply drives out to their day.
