Buck's Lawn Care and Handy Man

About Buck's Lawn Care and Handy Man

Midsummer afternoons in Stanardsville go still — the courthouse block quiet, heat sitting flat on Main Street, every scrap of sidewalk shade already spoken for. Buck's Lawn Care and Handy Man works straight through it, mowing yards and lots, trimming close along walls and walks, edging until the line between grass and gravel looks like a decision instead of an accident. Greene County lawns thicken up in a wet June and then need coaxing by August, and both moods are on the schedule. Spring and fall bring the cleanups — beds turned out, leaves gathered and gone. The reward is small and complete: a yard that looks finished.
