Stone & Mulch Center

About Stone & Mulch Center

Spring arrives at Curtis Park in a hurry — dogwood lighting up the understory, Virginia pine shedding its yellow dust, and every bed in the county asking to be cleaned out at once. Stone & Mulch Center works Stafford's lawns and grounds through that opening: mowing and edging as the turf wakes, trimming, refreshing beds and borders, and hauling off what the winter left. The clay here holds hard through March and then turns workable almost overnight. There is a particular pleasure in a bed edged clean and mulched dark, with the lawn cut right up to its rim. Nothing dresses a house faster.
